DynaMed Decisions was a new line of business, providing evidence-based tools that allow providers to deliver effective patient-centered and personalized care. The DynaMed team had tight timelines to launch to production and needed to align the architecture to HIPAA/HITRUST compliance. Logicworks’ demonstrated success as an AWS Premier Consulting Partner led DynaMed to select Logicworks as their partner of choice to successfully launch this new line of business on AWS.
Logicworks collaborated with the DynaMed team to design, build, and manage a HIPAA-compliant environment in a separate Organizational Unit within the existing EBSCO Information Services AWS Landing Zone. DynaMed was able to successfully meet their timelines to launch and lean on Logicworks Cloud Operations team for ongoing monitoring and support so their team can focus on development and delivering new features.
When DynaMed began planning an effort to rearchitect and migrate three applications in 2022, Logicworks was the clear choice to partner with to ensure the success of the project. Logicworks provided consultation and support for the AWS migration strategy of the DynaMed, DynaMedex, and Dynamic Health applications. Logicworks and the DynaMed team worked together to refactor microservices, update container orchestration, and refactor the CI/CD pipeline. Once the foundation of the migration was set, Logicworks performed significant testing of application-level components to ensure security and high availability. After deploying the refactored applications, Logicworks.provides ongoing operational support so their team can focus on the next business initiative.
